About the puukkos on the shows:
The only event really dedicated to puukkos is the Puukkofestivaalit from Kauhava (Finland).
On the other shows (Cotellia, Euro Knife Show, Solingen, SICAC, Nontron...), you can sometimes meet Scandinavian cutlery or inspirational pieces puukko But it's never guaranteed. It depends on the exhibitors of the year.
The dates 2027 are starting to come out. This is the most up-to-date state (updated October 2026).

In which exhibition can you find puukkos? Honest answer:
- Safest and richest : the Puukkofestivaalit from Kauhava (Finland). It's the appointment dedicated to puukkos. There are many traditional and contemporary Finnish blacksmiths.
- Other Finnish Trade Shows (Nuutajärvi, Hyvinkää, etc.) are also excellent for puukkos, but they are smaller and less known outside Finland.
- On the French and European fairs listed (Cotellia, Euro Knife Show, SICAC, Knife Solingen, Nontron, Dutch Knife Exhibition...) :
You can sometimes cross Scandinavian cutlery or inspirational pieces puukko, but this is not systematic. It depends on the exhibitors of the year. They're not living rooms. « Specialists puukko ». There are mainly cutlery of art, custom, French, German, Italian, etc.
In summary:
If you want many real puukkosthe most reliable remains Kauhava.
At other European fairs, it is possible but never guaranteed.
