History Company Casström
David Cassini Bäckström, born in Sweden. Father selling knives (including Kero). David sells Nordic in the United Kingdom; UK company first. Back to family in Lycksele. Outdoor dealer 2007, meagre years.
2012 : First house knife, No10 Swedish Forest Knife (Drawing Roger Harrington, UK). A mixture of traditional laponne + British bushcraft. It's going so far. Casström AB Sweden.
Today: Small team, showroom Lycksele, world network. David remains on geometry and steels. Guarantee 25 years. Swedish recycled steel as much as possible (Uddeholm Sleipner, 15N20, Sandvik 14C28N). PEFC ball, EU vegetable leather. Unit control at Lycksele (setting) handle/Beach). Lars Fält series (Scandinavian survival). Line Järv (Glouton): 15N20, handles Pine tar + linen, North look.
