History Peltonen
While working as a military observer In Lebanon, JP Peltonen puts his hands on an American military knife. The weight, ease of use and balance of the knife are in a separate class and make a profound impression on Mr. Peltonen.
The idea of a knife with similar characteristics, but adapted to northern conditions, remains burning in his mind.
So began the story Ranger Puukko and its long journey from the Middle East plains to the Finnish forests.
Highlights / weak points
Forces
- Documented Finnish Ranger (NSN).
- Thick blade, sword = more back than back scandi pure.

- Price above a Jääkäri.
- Hidden silk: full tang debate. Sabre scandi easy to sharpen flat.
